Beware of scams! We booked an expensive Executive Suite at Livega House for the last night of our Namibia tour, but only received a much cheaper Standard Suite, which greatly upset us. We complained immediately, but the management office was closed when we arrived that evening. We contacted the manager the following morning, who was very unfriendly. We were able to prove, with photos taken immediately and our booking confirmation, that we had unfortunately only received the much cheaper Standard Suite, contrary to what we had booked. The management said they would sort this out with the tour operator, even though it was obvious, but refused to refund the overpayment. We then contacted the tour operator, who was also unable to resolve the issue. I have written to the management of Livega House several times about this, but unfortunately, I have received no response. ... I assume that the management of Livega House is trying to enrich themselves in this unscrupulous manner, as they suddenly claimed we had been provided with an Executive Suite, which is absolutely untrue and is also refuted by my photographic evidence! It borders on fraudulent business practices! Beware when booking an expensive Executive Suite; the hotel's tactic seems to be to provide only a cheaper Standard Suite for the already paid-for Executive Suite, without any refund of the difference.
