Sorry! To be honest, I didn't have high expectations. I decided to go to a hot spring inn on short notice over a three-day weekend, so I searched around and found this inn with a room available. I usually stay at inns for around 100,000 yen for two people, but this one cost 55,000 yen for two people with an open-air bath and two meals included. I thought it would be reasonable, but I was pleasantly surprised. The parking lot is on the right side of the tunnel, so you need to turn around at the hotel entrance and parallel park on the left side. You'll know you're there because there are traffic cones and a bar on the parking side. The lobby is compact. After checking in at the counter, I walked down the corridor to my room. I think it's an untouched property, and although it's been kept clean, some details are a bit worn. I opened the door and entered my room. I was surprised when I walked in! It was incredibly spacious, clean, and modern. My room was Room 112, a Japanese-modern Jr. Suite. There were two large windows, so the room was well-lit and really comfortable. So, I headed to the terrace to see the hotel's main attraction, the open-air bath. To my surprise, a cute squirrel greeted me. I was both surprised and touched. It was there again the next day, so maybe it's settled in the area? The open-air bath is a little small for two people, but it's spacious enough for one person. It's roughly the same size as the typical tub baths found in spas. The water is circulated, rather than flowing, which kept the temperature just right, which was nice. The water is sulfate spring water, which was perfect for healing the wounds from my surgery a week ago. The large public bath (for men) is reasonably spacious, but it's always private whenever I go, which was nice too. However, there was no open-air bath. As for the food, the ingredients were carefully prepared for the price, and I was very satisfied with the taste, quality, and quantity. The free refills on soft drinks at the drink bar were a nice touch. For example, alfonsino. Of course, it would be nice if they served a whole fish simmered in soy sauce, but that's not possible at this price. So, they deep-fried fillets of golden-eyed snapper and topped them with a thick sauce, creating a satisfying meal. The sashimi, while small, was topped with abalone, which I thought was very elegant and delicious. For breakfast, the choice of three types of grilled fish was also thoughtful. Check-out is until 11:00, so you can relax and enjoy the hot springs after breakfast. Overall, I felt that the hotel was very selective and focused. For example, rather than spending money to renovate the hallways and lobby, they invested in the guest rooms, which are directly connected to the guest experience, and carefully selected ingredients that were appropriate for the price to create a satisfying meal, which I thought was a very good approach. Finally, I'd like to mention a few things that I found dissatisfying. First of all, I think it would be better to make the entire hotel non-smoking. I don't understand the point of allowing cigarettes in this day and age. At the very least, smoking on the terrace contributes to the harm of secondhand smoke, so I wish they would stop it immediately. I understand that there are other issues, such as the lack of elevators or escalators and the difficulty of parallel parking, but these are personal differences, so I didn't find them particularly dissatisfying. If you really think about value for money, it would be hard to find a better inn than this one. For two people to feel this luxurious for just over 50,000 yen, I think it's quite cheap.

The hotel is located just off a residential road and has the appearance of a love hotel. There is no elevator from the entrance, and parking is via the corridor. There was a leak from the hallway ceiling. Despite these negative aspects, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the food is also amazing! This is a hotel where you can enjoy both the food and the hot springs. PS: Unless you're a strong runner, it's best to limit your luggage to the bare minimum...

The food is simply great! Unlike other Livmax hotels, the meals are not buffet style, but are prepared in each room, and the appearance, taste, and quantity are impeccable! The food is wonderful. The rooms also come with an open-air hot spring bath, so you can enjoy the hot springs to your heart's content! I think this price is quite low.
