I happened to be covering a trail running race that finished right in front of this hotel ( ETC by UTMB ) I entered reception trying to talk with someone that worked there, waited 5m, ringed a bell but it was deserted. ( I only needed a place to charge my laptop so that I was able to deliver my pictures of the event ) As nobody attended i went to the outside of this hotel and sat down on their chairs. After 15m a woman arrived and shouted it was private property and that we couldn’t be there very rudely. We argued that we tried to talk with someone before and were more than willing to eat or drink something to be able to use this space but nevertheless she just shouted aggressively for us to go away. Courmayeur is a lovely place with lovely people, shame that I couldn’t say the same about this place or its staff.

We spent Ferragosto (August 15th) at Hotel Lo Scoiattolo in Courmayeur and it was a memorable experience. We were warmly welcomed by Giorgia, one of the owners. Always smiling and empathetic, she helped us with our luggage and looked after us throughout our stay. She provided excellent advice on places to visit, making every day more enjoyable. The room was tastefully furnished, comfortable, and immaculately clean. Breakfast was amazing, generous, and varied, with sweet and savory options for all tastes. Dinner featured refined and carefully prepared dishes, served with great professionalism. The waiters and all the staff were always helpful and attentive. The hotel is in a perfect location, just steps from the center and convenient for excursions. In conclusion, we highly recommend Hotel Lo Scoiattolo to anyone looking for a relaxing, welcoming, and attentive vacation.
