I can only give it 5 stars, perfectly located, good rooms, clean, classic Venetian decor, we stayed on the top floor, the receptionist is a delight.

We stayed for almost a week. Don't stay in places outside the city like Mestre; you can find affordable hostels like this one on the island. I especially recommend this place because: 1) The price is very reasonable compared to Venice itself. 2) It's in the least touristy Castello area of Venice, very quiet and yet close to everything (although Venice is already a very "compact" place), about a 10-minute walk to San Marco. There's a very nice neighborhood bakery and a few restaurants right on the corner of the street. The man at the reception was very helpful during check-in and gave great explanations about Venice and local recommendations. We spoke Italian, but he also speaks English. Apart from that, the room cleaning was amazing; the room was cleaned meticulously every day. The bathroom was very comfortable, and there was hot water. There is no breakfast, and my only criticism is that the sound insulation is insufficient (which can be considered normal in a historical building); if there are people from a talkative country in the room next to you, there might be noise.

My partner and I stayed for a week and were absolutely delighted with the experience. The staff is simply spectacular. From the first day, they greeted us at reception with a smile and were always willing to help us. They gave us excellent recommendations that made our trip even more special. That friendly and attentive service makes all the difference and makes you feel right at home. The room was simple, but very cozy, clean, and equipped with everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. The attention to detail and the excellent organization of the accommodation are evident. In addition, they offered guests a complimentary breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, a touch we found fantastic and which was truly delicious. The location is another of its great strengths: you can walk to the Rialto Bridge or St. Mark's Square in less than 15 minutes, allowing you to enjoy Venice without constantly relying on public transport. As a minor drawback, the accommodation does not have an elevator, and there are quite a few steps to climb, something to keep in mind if you are traveling with large suitcases or have reduced mobility. In short, an excellent choice in terms of quality, service, and location. 100% recommended. We would definitely return.
