Recently stayed at Loews Coral Gables before a cruise. Unfortunately, the experience was subpar at best. While the service from staff was great. The hotel does not feel like a luxury resort. We booked through the AMEX FHR and it really was a waste of a credit compared to other hotels. The hotel is supposedly new but feels very outdated. Hotel and the AMEX portal advertise a standing shower but we were given a tub. The tub kept clogging and the balcony door kept getting stuck. We made a few complaints but were told no other rooms were available. The best they could do was take off a resort/destination fee. This was my first experience within a Loews resort and likely will not be back. Food at the hotel was great but that was the only highlight for me.

I have to truly applaud this hotel. We had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel, but the most impressive part was the outstanding service. From the moment we arrived till check out, everyone we encountered provided 5 Star service. Kudos to the workers and management team that make this hotel so special.

Gorgeous hotel and great addition to Coral Gables. My husband and I are back in Miami (lived here prior to moving to Georgia) and our top choice was the Loews Hotel. Check in was easy and we had the pleasure of meeting Peter — whatever you’re paying Peter, double it! He was phenomenal and made our check in and stay so special. We will be back to stay soon, but only if Peter will be here!
