The service was good but somewhat marred by electrical problems in the room and unhelpful, unresponsive night staff. We spent an entire night with the room light switching on and off regularly without us touching anything. It was impossible to sleep.

We stayed at this hotel through Voyage Privé. The hotel is well located in the lively Trastevere district. The setting and atmosphere were pleasant. Our room was nice, however, it was located directly above the hotel entrance, which made it quite noisy. We regularly heard outside noises, especially the passing vehicles on the road. We could also hear the noise from breakfast in the morning, as the dining room was right next to our room. Breakfast was adequate, nothing special, and the staff were friendly. Through Voyage Privé, a card offering an aperitif was included in our stay. However, we realized in our room that we had two cards. The first one was used without any problem. The next day, before using the second card, we pointed out to the same bartender that it was a second card and asked if that would be a problem. He replied that it wasn't and invited us to sit down. The next day, the receptionist finally asked us to pay for the aperitif. I explained the situation, and he said he would check with the manager. However, upon departure, we were charged for the second aperitif, without any further explanation. This is unfortunate, as it somewhat marred what was otherwise an otherwise pleasant experience.
