Where to start... I've had the loveliest time at the Marriott Maida Vale. I came in on a Saturday, tired and stressed as I was on a full flat-hunting mission, and my lord was I well hosted. It all started with Oualid, whose kindness and warmth welcomed me in the most gentle way and transformed what could have been a stressful evening into such a soothing moment. And then everyone — literally every staff member I met, whether from the housekeeping team, waiters, front desk... they were all so friendly. This hotel has a beautifully diverse team and it felt like people were actually happy to work there. These 4 days kind of felt like home (it sounds like an exaggeration, but it's true). Booking a hotel close to the action is important. This hotel is close to an underground access, which can take you almost anywhere in the city. After every excursion, we returned to an exceptionally clean and immaculate room, feeling like we were checking into a new hotel each day. The food in the restaurant was excellent, and the dinner service was also wonderful. We highly recommend this place.
