It has been an amazing stay, not to loud was able to sleep really well wich is a commodity Because it’s not that common. Really clean kitchen area!

Good experience

1) I was sent to the top floor, where the room is not cooled at all from fan or AC. The power outlet next to the bed did not work. The internet does not reach up to the top floor—it cuts in and out but does not hold a stable enough connection for a call or video. 2) I made a request to move rooms, which was accepted. An employee did not make a note about an existing guest and the bed was double booked. I sorted through this with the others in the room then waited for about 30 minutes in the lobby while they tried to rearrange the rooms and solve the problem. 3) There was a terrible smell throughout the ground floor. It was one of the worst smells I've ever witnessed. 4) A rat ate through my bag into my cheese which was encased in its original plastic container. So either a rat found its way into the fridge, someone didn't have enough respect to close the door, or the latch doesn't work properly. 5) IMPORTANT: The reception is closed from 6-7, so don't make plans that require you to retrieve your luggage at this time. It is clearly displayed, but this is the only hostel in Sydney that does this, so try not to let this rule catch you off guard. 6) The male employee (maybe the manager?) was passive aggressive and sarcastic to the guests. I experienced the attitude shortly after hearing about it separately from someone else. 7) I was put in an upper bunk bed that was too small of a space to fit me, as the ceiling was invading the breathing room above the bed. 8) They moved my stuff from my bed and changed my room without telling me, putting me in a transitory phase I was not expecting. 9) Forget about a social life here as the lads are on the couch gaming.
