Luxury Inn

My experience this time was nothing but HORRIBLE!! I have been going to this place for many years. I work at Collingwood and often I would stay in at this location to save my time from commuting back and forth from GTA. This time, I stayed for two nights. First night when I checked in at 1130pm after work, the rep gave me keys to a King size room. As soon as I entered room, I could hear outside noise from vehicles passing by. I went at desk and expressed my concerns; she changed my room to a double bedroom which was much quieter but full of food smell. Since she changed once, and it was late I did not bother her. Next day, I told her that the room was very smelly and unpleasant odor. What surprised me that she knew that room "102" has unpleasant odor yet they were charging full price and hiding the facts from customer. Because I go there often, I did not ask for any discount neither it was offered, but she offered upstairs room on my next visit. Next day, I checked in at 1130pm after work, she gave me upstairs room again facing main road, I tried to sleep but after a struggle for 45 min, I called the desk. They did not pick up phone, so I went downstairs. I was ready to pay extra $20 for room change but the girl was throwing unnecessary tantrum. She blamed that I was the only customer have complained of noise and bad smell; otherwise, they always get good reviews, really? Furthermore, she did not even hesitate of brining housekeeping cost (washing linen and all) and how her job will be affected for doing this. I told her, if this is coming to her job then I do not want her to suffer and I left. I really missed owner "Debbie". She was great but if you leave your business on workers, they do not care!! My advice, please bring your own fragrance and ear buds with you because once you paid, it does not matter. Their customer service and nothing but zero.

Found a used condom on the floor by the bed in the morning. So gross.

Was really nice a clean room. Staff is so nice, appreciate the service.
