I noticed a review from two months ago pointed out a NOW OPEN sign (it's still there as of today). We walked into the lobby and it smelled of marijuana (I know it's legal now, but really?). We got to the front desk and when I gave my name, they found my reservation and said the room I reserved was unavailable and there were no available rooms that matched my original reservation. The receptionist said a suite was available, but was available for almost twice as much as my original confirmed reservation. While all this was occurring, another customer came up, and he quickly went to resolve their problem. Once that nonsense was done, I told him I would consider it if I would be charged the price I reserved originally. The receptionist said he would show us the room, and as we got to the elevator, he suddenly ran off. I had enough of the nonsense and left. It seems the Choice Hotel brand is a "get what you pay for" brand. The cheaper their hotels are, the crappier they are.

Rooms are old but have an extremely soft bed. Sheets were clean, towels were fairly white, not bad overall. Only a few fast food places near by like McDonald's, Arby's, and Long John Silvers. Cheap weekly rate of $299

TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL & VERY TRIFLING!!!! I booked a room, came to check in, got a key, inspected the room and left out. When I came back to hotel (maybe 3hrs), I tried unlocking the door to the room they gave me & some half dressed man answered the door. I’m glad I didn’t put anything in there!! I booked through booking.com and they argued with me about the room! How did I not check in but received a key??? They told me they wouldn’t give me another room and that I would have to pay for another one since it was past 12. I told them I already paid and asked if they wanted to see confirmation of booking and my bank statements. Then tried to argue that since it was a 3rd party site they hadn’t given them payment. I told them that I would dispute and got ready to leave. The worker called me back over and gave me another room. This whole process was at least 30 minutes at this point. The room they gave me had bloody sheets and a non working phone. They gave me another room and it was still dirty. Never book here !!!
