We are extremely disappointed with our experience at this resort. What was supposed to be a relaxing family holiday turned into a stressful, unhygienic, and unsafe ordeal, especially with our 1 year old child. During our stay, we encountered multiple serious issues that are completely unacceptable for any resort: 1. Bed bugs – I woke up covered in bed bug bites. This is not only disturbing and unhygienic, but absolutely unacceptable in paid accommodation. 2. Ant infestation – The bedroom was full of ants, and all of our belongings ended up covered in ants. 3. Room not cleaned on arrival – We entered the room to find sand in the shower and a dead insect, clearly proving the room had not been cleaned before our arrival. 4. Poor medical support – When our daughter had a fever, the nursing station did not even have a basic otoscope to check her ears — one of the most fundamental tools for assessing a child. This left us anxious and unsupported. 5. Unhygienic buffet – We saw a dead cockroach floating in a jar of water at the buffet. Staff removed it after we reported it, but it was shocking, unhygienic, and unacceptable. 6. Dirty bedding – My pillowcase had black mascara stains, obviously from a previous guest, which shows extremely poor housekeeping and zero quality control. 7. Wrong ferry booking – The resort even booked the wrong ferry for us. Staff at the ferry were shocked and confused as to why we were on that boat. This added more stress and wasted time . completely unbelievable for a resort that should be coordinating guest travel properly. Although we were eventually issued a refund, the damage was already done. We could not stay any longer for the safety of our baby. By the time we left, all decent resorts were fully booked, so we had no choice but to bring our return flight home forward, cutting our holiday short and losing precious time we had planned, paid for, and looked forward to. This experience ruined our holiday. We expected basic cleanliness, safety, organisation, and hygiene and the resort failed on every level. We would not recommend this resort to any family, especially those travelling with children.
