Received a call while on route to inform that the lift was not working and that stairs would have to be used. Once I arrived greeted by a lovely lady who was already dealing with issues from others and trying to assist people to get their luggage up several flights of stairs. In the room I turned on the tv but no signal due to different plugs being installed that now no cords fit. The lady at reception and the young guy did try to assist but to no avail. A shame for the Accor and Mantra names as no discount offered. Felt very sorry for the night staff dealing with issues that obviously the manager is only focused on $$$

I arrived 15 mins prior to my check in time and my room was not ready so I was “ upgraded” to an apartment. OMG I would’ve preferred to sleep in my car. The apparent was infested with cockroaches, it was certainly not clean, it seemed dusty and 100% not cleaned between visits. The couch was so badly stained that I refused to sit on it without coverage. The cutlery and crockery were odd bods and not enough for more than 3 people . For what I paid and for the name , a total disappointment and I’m struggling to comprehend how this place is still in operation with the multiple complaints of cockroaches. The lesson here have learnt that is definitely read reviews before and do not go by the name!!

DO NOT STAY HERE: The list of things that are awful is never ending but here are a few. The Balcony sliding door was broken - it cannot be locked, anyone could just break in, if they did they'd turn around and leave though. It is located in an industrial estate with most rooms facing industrial units and a car repair workshop (they start at 7am panel beating) plus the Business' Skips get emptied during the night all night long. Floodlights shine into the room (And the curtains are too small for the windows so the floodlights shine in) To give you an idea the "reception" is actually in the car park - like a car wash in some dodgy shopping centre, and the fact I had to step over a dead bird outside reception was warning enough this was going to be horrid. It was still there the next day. There's mould on the curtains and windows - and they are hanging off due to broken rails. The Carpets and the sofa are sticky and stained, the furniture is Opp Shop rejects at best, peeling varnish on the chairs, random nails and pins in the walls, presumably where pictures had been and never replaced. There's mould in the kitchen, bathroom, the bathroom smells of urine, Filthy and rusty cutlery, damaged counter tops, I had to boil the kettle to clean anything I used. Actually I went to the shops to buy spray disinfectant and cleaned the room myself. Shockingly there isn't even a mattress protector (pretty basic requirement for a hotel) when I checked there were stains on the mattress, there was no duvet or blanket, I had to request 2 times for blankets which took an hour for reception to get, just to shield myself from the stained mattress which is so hard with springs sticking through it, I then had to sleep on what felt like 10 year old lumpy broken pillows.. Needless to say I didn't feel refreshed the next day. I wished I had slept in my car! If it was a hot day I would have as there is no air con in the bedroom!! How this is rated a 4 star should be illegal. Totally False advertising the rooms look NOTHING like the website photos.
