Every time our missions team comes through Masaka, the Maple Leaf Hotel is our home base—and honestly, it’s become part of the trip itself. When you travel with a group on mission work, you learn pretty quickly that a hotel can either drain your energy… or restore it. Maple Leaf does the second one really well. The staff are phenomenal. They are warm, attentive, and genuinely care that you are comfortable. It’s not the robotic “hospitality smile” you sometimes get in hotels. These folks remember you, check in on you, and somehow make you feel like both a guest and a friend at the same time. The management deserves a special shout-out.
