It was one of my bad stays in Türkiye. As soon as I arrived, Leo, the manager, wanted me to pay in euros even though I had Canadian dollars and a credit card, but he wanted euros and he looked at my dollars, saying: "It's what is that? We don't accept that. » I had euros and Turkish liras, but the amount did not cover 4 days, it was for 1 or 2 days. He said OK, it doesn't matter. Tomorrow you can make the exchange at the exchange office very close to the residence and if you want, I can cancel the reservation and pay you tomorrow. I didn't understand his intention, I thought that if he canceled it would be easier since I hadn't paid yet but he canceled my reservation on Booking saying that I didn't even arrive at the hotel and I didn't spend any night even though I was already there; the next day asked me to leave and that there were other people who reserved the room and offered me another hotel, I refused his proposal because it was really dishonest what he did and especially since I was with mother who was a little elderly and it was very disturbing for both of us to move with our luggage to find another place. The worst part is that because of what he did (saying I booked and didn't show up), I found myself without access to Booking and could no longer book a room. another hotel. Fortunately, nearby, we found another hotel with an honest and helpful manager who spoke at least Arabic, not like Léo the other manager of the other hotel, who did not speak English well and who ruined my vacation. Returning to the payment of my stay in Maranda, Léo charged me a higher amount and did not give me a receipt saying that I will receive it through the application, while he said that I did not stayed in his hotel; so he took the entire amount without giving me the receipt and without even correcting the information communicated to Booking.

Unfortunately, the hotel does not deserve the rating. It is very, very small. The treatment and the employee named Leo are very, very bad and disrespectful. I stayed at the hotel for a week and the air conditioning was broken. He promised me that it would be fixed, but he did not do so, and this happened again.The washing machine is also broken and does not work, the bathroom is very small, and breakfast is repeated every day and the quantity is small.
