We had a very pleasant experience at the Marea Neagră Hotel in Sinaia and we would like to thank the entire team for the successful stay. First of all, we appreciate the special gesture of the hotel to accommodate us in a room with a mountain view, although we had initially opted for a room with a view to the back of the hotel. It was a very pleasant surprise and a great plus for our comfort. The reception team is extremely responsive, professional and kind. We received prompt help and useful guidance whenever we needed it, which made us feel welcome. Another important advantage is that you do not need a personal car. The bus stop is just a stone's throw from the hotel, and the means of transport provide a connection to both the city center and the gondola (you can also walk to the gondola in a maximum of 10 minutes). Tickets can be purchased directly at the reception or through the dedicated app, which is very easy to use. The hotel restaurant deserves a special mention: the food is very tasty, the staff is extremely friendly, and the breakfast included in the price is varied and hearty. Nearby are many important tourist attractions, such as Peleș Castle, Sinaia Monastery and the Casino, and the city itself is ideal for relaxing walks and exploration. In conclusion, we confidently recommend Hotel Marea Neagră to all those who want a comfortable and well-organized stay in Sinaia. Finally, Evelina sends her regards to Garfield.

I stayed 3 nights at the Marea Neagră Hotel in Sinaia. Cons: The mattress was medium-hard and visibly deformed, the bedside table was sticky. Slippers are only provided upon request. There is no water, kettle or coffee in the room. The phone to call the reception did not work. The shower hose was partially damaged and water was leaking. The cleanliness of the bathroom left something to be desired (dirty behind the door, on the sink and toilet). Also, allergy sufferers should be careful: my husband had allergy symptoms throughout his stay, possibly due to the dust in the carpets. Pros: For €80/night, with breakfast and parking included, the quality-price ratio is good. I had dinner once at the hotel, the food was tasty and affordable. The location is very good, close to public transport and Peleș Castle and Pelișor. The first room offered smelled of cigarette smoke, we are non-smokers and I am pregnant so I requested a room change, which was done.
