We stayed at this hotel for a week and were delighted. The hotel is very well located for getting around and for choosing from the nearby restaurants. The staff was very friendly both day and night. Our room was very large, with a spacious bathroom and a dry sauna. Breakfast, included in the room price, was served in our room, as they were carrying out renovations on the terrace. On my next visit to Mexico City, I will definitely return.

I feel sad to write this review as it is happening in real time. Today is March 6, 2026 and I am having a very difficult time trying to cancel my reservation. I called yesterday with my best Spanish, which is not good, and they asked me to call back today to receive a notification? I'm assuming that means confirmation? This time I am trying through WhatsApp so I can use Google Translate. They are telling me that it's non-refundable. I explained I purchased the refundable option for my reservation. They replied saying it's refundable if cancelled no less than 7 days prior to check-in. I took a screen shot of their cancellation policy from my reservation email that says this reservation has a flexible cancellation policy and if canceled with less than 24 hrs notice then the first night rate will be charged. My reservation does not start until March 9. So I am well within the cancellation window. An hour has passed and they have no written me back. I've indicated that my intentions are to engage with kindness and I'm simply looking for help with my cancellation and refund according to their policy. I'm quite disappointed with the lack of communication. Prior to this I emailed them 3 times over the course of 4 days with no response. I would be happy to amend this review if they follow through with the refund.

Terrible customer service!!! Angela, the manager, does not prioritize the safety of guests. The hotel is under construction—there is dust everywhere, supplies throughout the hallways, and to access the elevator, construction workers have to stop what they are doing just to allow guests to reach their rooms. When I brought my concerns to Angela, she was dismissive and insisted that guests were notified of the active construction via email and that it was stated on the hotel’s website—both of which were false. I booked the stay through Expedia, and they confirmed they were not made aware of the construction issues. As a result, they rebooked our CDMX stay elsewhere. AVOID THIS HOTEL AND ANGELA!!!
