Marina Seaside Boutique Hotel

The accommodation did not match the description provided on Agoda. It put us in a very unsafe environment, in terms of privacy, safety and hygiene. The conditions experienced on site were unacceptable and constitute a clear case of false advertising. Furthermore the hotel made a false “no-show” declaration the day after check-out, which is completely incorrect and invalidates our complaints even though we have photos and evidence supporting all of the above claims. The issues encountered are as follows: • The room was sold as the “last available bedroom” which is misleading, given that it is actually a Living room in the basement of the hotel. Upon arrival there were only mattresses placed directly on pallets on the floor, clearly showing that this space is not a legitimate bedroom.The room was dirty and poorly maintained. It was like the hotel’s deposit room. • There was a camera inside the room, with the beds clearly within its field of view, which is a serious violation of privacy. • The door lock was broken, raising serious safety concerns. • there were glass doors on both sides, exposing the clients to anyone who walks in the open basement on one side and a garage on the other, offering no privacy and giving huge safety concerns. • The bathroom was shared with hotel staff, which was never mentioned in the listing. • it took us a very long time to find the hotel in the « village », since it was not at the indicated address. Plus the stuff never answered with the given phone number.

We booked several months in advance. The same day we were supposed to arrive they welcomed us and asked when we would be arriving. We replied that we would arrive at 5:00 PM. When we arrived at 5:00 PM they said they didn't have a room for us. They had sold the room to someone else to make more money. This was during high season. When it was completely impossible to get another room, Booking.com managed to pressure them into getting a room. Here we had to be 4 people in a double bed. They also charged more for this room. Never think of booking this hotel.

One star is too generous. The listing said living room, but we were taken to a basement and told it was our room. No air conditioning, no bathroom, and the space was filled with junk furniture. The room is next to an underground parking garage, separated only by a glass door — anyone could break in, creating a serious safety risk. The hotel also overbooks. We met other guests who couldn’t check in. The owner’s phone was off, and staff did nothing except watch videos on their phones. Photos are fake. Description is misleading. Do NOT book！！！
