The hotel needs a lot of improvement , not security boxes, doors don’t lock properly, the breakfast is included but I don’t recommend, I don’t recommend the hotel , probably need a new administration and get workers that know construction, plumbing, etc

Be careful booking this hotel. I booked on Booking.com (and found out later that it was through a booking partner on the same APP called Bedsonline) for my mother-in-law and when she showed up (a retired person), they said the reservation could not be found. I found this strange, since I always book on Booking.com and I received a confirmation, supposedly from the hotel. I tried to reason with staff (My mother-in-law was attended by a Jafett Arias and they seemed to either not care or not willing to help us with this situation. There was no customer service help at all. I was willing to rebook for that same day or one close to it (because this day was planned way in advance to the T as a gift for my loved one...logistics and availability), but these attendants were not having it. I also went on Booking.com to see available dates and guess what? There were available rooms even for that SAME day, so who's lying here? TODAY, I received a notification on Booking that the reservation was cancelled. This tells me that they saw it and then was able to cancel 10 days after the supposed stay (incredible). I do not recommend this hotel as lovely as it seems and as great of a location it is in as I was highly disappointed with how they dealt with the situation.

Do not stay here. This “hotel” is the biggest deception I have ever experienced. The actual hotel and rooms are NOTHING like the photos. The Marinn Tropical Vibes is advertised as a 3 star hotel and the inside, upstairs on the second floor, where all of the rooms are located is dingy, dark and musty. It is a non smoking hotel, yet there were cigarette ashes outside our door on the hallway floor and a strong cigar smoke smell. There were zero amenities in the rooms. Not one. We looked at several rooms before leaving late at night after an incredibly long day of travel. No blankets on the beds, no soap in the bathrooms, no hair dryer, no hangers in the closets. No hot water. Simply a large, barren room with an awkward bed in the middle. There were cracks in the walls and in the middle of the main entry door. The door could not be locked from the inside. There were dirty fingerprint smudges on the walls and door as though the rooms hadn’t been painted in 15 years. Before making the reservation, I read many of the reviews and none of them reflected these things. I read that it could get noisy on the weekends and specifically asked for a quiet room when I booked our two king rooms with views. When we got back from dinner, the club music had started and was so loud it shook our room. I didn’t realize the “hotel” was next to a club. This was also on a Wednesday night, not a weekend. I had also asked for our rooms to be next to each other when I made the reservation several months in advance. They were not. We spent so much time trying to make the situation work by going downstairs and speaking to the staff who did try to assist- However, the problems could not be resolved. There were too many. Each time we went downstairs there were loud people in the lobby who were not staying there. They all appeared to be drunk and on drugs. We wondered if drugs were being sold out of the “hotel.” The vibe was scary and we did not feel safe. The parking situation is the biggest most inconvenient joke I have ever experienced. The parking lot is shared with a high tourist area and attractions. Each time we left (we checked in at 4:30 PM and basically immediately left to explore the area) we had to wait at reception for someone to stamp our ticket to be able to get out of the gated parking area. Then, we had to bring our ticket to security outside of the “hotel “ so they could give us another ticket to get out of the gate. The security person was not always in place so we were stuck inside the parking lot and unable to exit. Then, one of the times security was back in place and we received our ticket to be able to exit, and it didn’t work with the scanner at the gate. We had to go back inside the “hotel” and begin the process all over. Imagine our horror upon arriving back at the “hotel” around 10:30 at night wanting nothing more than a hot shower and a good nights sleep. After numerous more attempts in speaking with the staff and looking at different rooms, we packed our things and left around 11:30 PM - completely exhausted and left with the daunting task of where to stay at that hour of night. Our reservation was originally for 3 nights. I can not believe a “hotel “ in such a beautiful, well known area of Panama turned out to be so appalling. Do yourselves a favor and do not stay here unless you are looking for an incredibly overpriced, shady, noisy hostel that is apparently ok with deceiving people.
