The hotel itself transports us back to the 1970s. It has character, is cozy, and we really like it. We sleep wonderfully in the beds. We find the hotel quiet and inviting. The reception is very warm and the staff very friendly. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired, and everyone finds something to their liking. The view is outstanding. Since the overall experience impressed us during our visit in spring 2025, we planned our New Year's Eve 2025/26 here and booked well in advance to ensure everything was arranged. We were again accommodated in almost the same rooms on the 3rd floor facing the countryside. Despite requesting an underground parking space at the time of booking, no space was available on the day of arrival or for the entire duration of our stay, and we had to find parking outside. We value reliability. The advertised and booked New Year's Eve dinner was a disaster from the reservation process through the 5-course meal to the final payment, and we would not recommend it. The only positive aspect was the untrained but completely overwhelmed staff who tried to salvage the evening with their politeness. Hats off to them! On New Year's Day, the restaurant manager suggested we, as hotel guests, eat at another restaurant outside the hotel, as he had no space for us... and even after we asked again, he still couldn't find a table. We found this experience very disappointing and went home quite disappointed. The Burba Family

I stayed here on a business trip and I can say that everything was flawless. The rooms are modern, clean, and quiet, which is perfect for relaxing after a long day of meetings. The Wi-Fi is fast, and the conference facilities are professional and well-equipped. The location is excellent – the center of Kiel is within easy reach, and the hotel also offers a beautiful view of the sea. I would recommend it for both business and leisure visits.
