Location here is prime, you are right under the gondola. Next to all of the prime strip bars, restaurants and shops. They do have a heated pool and 2 hot tubs. It would be nice if at least one could be adults only. It’s not fun having kids jump and splash around in a hot tub. This is also on the parents. There is a steam room that was decent but the sauna did not get hot when I was there. The attendant at the spa was a typical millennial who has no information & is not willing to get off her seat and help. In contrast the main lobby front desk staff were all very helpful. Room was just like any standard hotel room that has a kitchenette. The reason for the decreased stars is we were there for 4 nights and our bed was unacceptable. The mattress is dead. So soft we roll to the hole in the center. Very stiff necks, you wake every hour. The pillows were not much better honestly. We addressed this after the 1st night with the front desk. They said they did not have any alternative mattresses. They were sending a board to be put under the bed along with a mattress topper(we did not use this it just made it more soft.) we asked if they could also flip/rotate the mattress when they put the board they said yes. When we got back to our room the very thin board and topper were just left on the side for us to lift the mattress and place. Luckily we are able bodied. But they did not try and adjust the bed it was left just as we left it. We tried sleeping at the foot of the bed twice. This just made you feel like your feet are lower than your body and you’re still in the hole. It’s not a cheap place so you hope to be able to sleep. I’d say the place is a convenient location, valet is smooth and convenient but if they give you room 4241 ask if they’ve changed the mattress recently and request another if not.

Everything from location to service was top notch at this hotel. The only downside was that there was no cellular connectivity in our room -- it was a faraday cage. With the balcony door open though, a signal came through. The hotel WiFi mostly mitigated the issue. All in all, I highly recommend staying here, especially if your planning on skiing at Heavenly.
