My partner and I stayed here as a couples getaway. I wouldn’t call this a luxury type place or resort. The place was fine but definitely outdated. Rooms were very clean and comfortable but one of the hot tubs was cold. The bartending staff from New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day were excellent and deserve a raise! They were so attentive to their guests both days. My main complaint was that this trip was a gift from our in laws. So when they booked the hotel they thought they had paid for the stay online. When we arrived I put my card in the system (usual incase of damages) and then immediately got charged over $1000 dollars. It was just a bit misleading from the website. It’s very possible our in laws misread something when booking however, whoever spoke to us at the front desk, I’m guessing a manager was very rude and dismissive. When I asked about getting the money back and charging the original card on file, she gave a very confusing explanation saying it would take several days to go back. It just kind of made part of the trip stressful when we were supposed to be relaxed. Otherwise everything was fine. Also parking is $15 a day. I don’t think I would stay at this place again but I would come back for the hotel bar and the Top of the Rock restaurant.
