I rarely write negative reviews, but my stay at Masa Hotel Lisbon was truly one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I have ever had. Our room had basic facility problems from the beginning. The wash basin was completely blocked and the jet shower was not working at all. When we informed reception, instead of receiving help, the response from the receptionist was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. We requested a room change, but were told that they did not want to change the room and there was nothing they could do. The issue was dragged for hours with repeated promises that someone would fix it, but nothing was resolved. We were kept waiting until around 12:15 AM. After a long day of travel, we were extremely tired and emotionally drained. The situation went on so long that I had to give up because I simply could not continue arguing or waiting. The behaviour of the staff made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. At one point we were told that if we were unhappy we could leave the hotel, but no refund would be issued. I would also advise guests to be cautious — the way we were treated gave an impression that people from certain religious backgrounds may not always be treated with equal respect or hospitality. Overall, this experience was deeply disappointing due to non-working facilities, refusal to provide a room change, extremely slow response, and poor customer service. I would not recommend this hotel. I hope the management seriously reviews staff behaviour and service standards.

Very bad experience. The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. There was a serious water logging problem in the room, but even after complaining they refused to change the room. They were also not helpful with parking and showed zero interest in helping guests. Overall, very poor service and not worth the money. I would not recommend staying here.
