Matsue Excel Hotel Tokyu

I ate at the hotel restaurant, but forgot to mention I had allergies, so I told them on the day. They told me what dishes were included, and when I was thinking of not eating, they offered me a substitute dish, even though it was short notice. They were very kind and I was able to eat a delicious meal. Breakfast was also a buffet, but they explained the dishes included, so I was able to eat with peace of mind.

It's just too uncomfortable to sleep!! There are some reviews saying it's too hot or too cold, but when it's hot there's no escape and it's just hell. You can't choose between air conditioning and heating, and even on the warmest days, if it's autumn the heating is forced on. I hate this, which is why I avoid APA. If it's central air conditioning, I wish it would be clearly stated. As someone in menopause who gets hot easily, I felt like I'd been scammed. Far from a comfortable hotel, it was a scorching hell. To make matters worse, the windows didn't even open. This really pisses me off. My body was hot after the bath, drenched in sweat, and I spent an hour or two there...until morning, unable to relax at all. I fanned the fan at full speed, but it didn't cool me down at all. Maybe it's just that the room retains heat unnecessarily well, because the temperature just didn't drop. The walls don't seem thin, but the floor is thin, because I could hear the sound of people banging on things... Hell. It seems that the window wasn't designed to be locked, but rather fixed so that it couldn't be opened later. It doesn't open even a centimeter. I'm sure they made it so that it couldn't be opened after celebrities have jumped to their deaths, but just fixing it so that it can't be opened is just thinking about cost, right? Even just opening it by a centimeter would make a difference in the room temperature. As long as there's no incident or accident, they probably don't care about the comfort of the guests. They just force the room temperature on you and don't give you any room to adjust it. Isn't this the same as a prison? It was muggy, muggy, muggy all night... It was too hot. What an uncomfortable night it was. I don't know how many times I turned over in my sleep. I got up and fanned myself. I drank water from the fridge. It was hell. Maybe I would have been better off sleeping in my car. The accommodation fee was nearly 1.5 times what I usually pay at a business hotel, so it makes me even more angry. How dare they advertise a comfortable and relaxing stay! I'm completely disgusted. More importantly, I couldn't sleep and was completely exhausted. I was extremely sleepy the next day. Naturally, I'll never stay here again.
