A clean hotel overall, with rooms befitting a 4-star hotel. It's impressive how much thermal spa facilities can be hidden in Cologne's city center. The spa area offers opportunities for relaxation. Unfortunately, the service didn't contribute to a pleasant experience. The massage from an "external masseuse" was an expensive oil rubdown, and the staff at reception and in the restaurant are B&B employees. The hourly sauna infusions were pleasantly strong. For a short break in a central location, it's an acceptable hotel with room for improvement in both small and large areas.

We just spent three wonderful days at the Mauritius Hotel in Cologne and are completely satisfied. The hotel is beautifully furnished – you immediately feel at home. Service: The entire team was consistently very friendly and attentive. Wellness: The spa area is superbly equipped and a real highlight after a long day in the city. Location: While there isn't a traditional outdoor area, this is more than compensated for by the unbeatable central location in Cologne. You're right in the heart of the action and can reach everything you need in no time.
