Due to strong winds we were stuck in Chiquila overnight, and this was the only hotel with available rooms. It is also the only reason to ever stay there. Even though we were there, we had to book and pay via an online booking site. However, it didn't really work, so it took quite a while before we were told whether we had a reservation or not. Then there was a problem with the payment, so we had to wait for it. When we finally got a room, it was on the ground floor at the back of the hotel. There was trash and scrap metal outside, and the window was covered with shelves of trash. The bathroom wasn't cleaned and there were holes in the sheets and hairs in the bed. Also, there was no water in the shower. After they tried to fix the shower but failed, we had to change rooms. The room was slightly less bad, but still below all criticism for the price (94USD). The shower came out brown water and the faucet in the sink came out almost no water at all. It was a relief to be able to leave the room early in the morning. In conclusion: only stay here if you absolutely have to!

The cost is relatively cheap at 1000, but the bathing water is salty and horrible, and the rooms smell like sewage.

Rooms were good. The only problem I have is that they don’t feed the two dogs that they have. The lady ignored those poor babies crying for food. Whenever we feed them they wouldn’t even chew the food because of how hungry they were. No food and no water for God knows how long. Please please feed the dogs !
