Very nice hotel, in front of the port. Beautiful rooms with a nice view. In front of the hotel there is a start and end of public transport.

Perfect location for a stopover in Heraklion. Importantly, there is parking at the hotel. The port and the city center are within easy walking distance, and the airport is a 10-minute drive away. The hotel reception is a little hidden; just follow the signs. Very friendly staff and a delicious breakfast!

The hotel and its grounds are wonderful. However, the concert hall is divided in two by a wall, the musicians play in the middle (as if they are playing in an opening in the wall), which means that if you don't pay for a first-class seat, you will sit far away, probably you won't have the view and acoustics needed for live music, and I, at least now that I know, wouldn't go.
