Hotel Meierhof: Cozy and comfortable environment in Davos During our weekend stay in the Swiss canton of Graubünden, we stayed at the Hotel Meierhof at Promenade 135 CH-7260 Davos Dorf. During our visit at the end of November, the hotel was decorated with tasteful Christmas decorations, which, together with the snowy Davos, completes the right pre-Christmas atmosphere of the first Advent weekend. The rooms have stylish and cozy furnishings that are very suitable for this environment. The beds are comfortable, the mattress thickness is adequate. Blankets and bathrobes are also available in the rooms. There is a metal lockable cabinet in the closet for valuables. The curtains in the rooms provide very decent blackout. There is also an electric kettle, you can choose between tea and coffee. The kettle has been thoroughly descaled, it looks like new. The bathroom has a shower. It is necessary to praise the thorough cleanliness of the shower. According to the attached photos, you can see that there were no visible dirt even in the shower rails, and the water tap is just as meticulously clean. There is a hair dryer, as well as a toothbrush and toothpaste. During our stay, we needed to iron our clothes, and the staff willingly provided us with an ironing board and an iron with a perfectly clean ironing surface. The Meierhof Hotel has very helpful staff from different countries of the world, including Slovakia, who willingly and patiently took several photos for our camera and were helpful to us if necessary throughout our stay. Upon arrival, we received a local transport ticket from the hotel, which can be used during the days of our stay at the hotel if necessary. The Meierhof Hotel also offers a pleasant wellness center with saunas and a swimming pool with reasonably warm water. Breakfast is served buffet style, the food is delicious, the coffee and juices are also very good. I would like to highlight that we also had excellent smoked salmon at breakfast, which is not always standard in 4-star hotels. I see a small room for improvement in that during the next renovation it would be appropriate to consider how to ensure even better soundproofing of the rooms, because through the wooden windows you can hear cars driving on the street. The windows are very nice and stylish, so it would be appropriate to find some compromise solution that would ensure better soundproofing while maintaining style. Taking into account all the positives and one small detail for improvement, I rate the Hotel Meierhof in Davos 5 stars out of 5 in Google reviews. You will certainly make the right decision when you stay at this hotel during your stay in the Swiss Alps in the canton of Graubünden.

Friendly staff. The room was very nice and comfortable. Pool and sauna were really enjoyable. A relaxing stay!
