Hotel was very nice, rooms and beds comfortable, breakfast buffet was excellent. Common areas, gardens and pools are clean and well maintained with a nice modern aesthetic. Location is not great for beaches but very convenient for access to the motorway to drive to the theme parks. The negatives....... Through the Luxury Escapes website, we booked a golf course view room with 2 queen beds. We checked-in in the evening after a very long day. After hauling our kids and luggage upstairs to the room, we had been given a room overlooking the pool (we specifically wanted a quiet room to relax in). Asked reception to give us the room we booked, we were allocated to another room, hauled our kids and bags up to level 3, to discover a lovely view, however there was only 1 bed in the room! Back to reception to again ask for the room we had booked (they were apparently unaware of the bed setup in that room) to be told that they did not have another room available for us that night. I asked them to upgrade us, which they did with no fuss, but the upgraded room did not have a view, so we stayed in it just for the 1 night and were transferred finally to the correct room for our second night. Customer service provided by reception was good, they did all they could to accommodate us, however it was an unnecessarily stressful and tiring check-in that should never have happened, and made for a horrible start to our holiday. Very happy with our room once we were finally given the one we booked. Another issue - our booking stated that buffet breakfast was included. Naturally we took this to mean breakfast for all 4 occupants of the room. At breakfast in the morning we were told that breakfast was only for the adults, not the kids......??!! We would have to pay extra for the kids. Again, once I showed my booking confirmation, they gave the kids the complimentary breakfast without hassle. Overall a very nice 4 star hotel and would happily stay again, however giving a guest the room that they booked and paid for is a pretty basic starting point and something you really need to get right.

Generally service and facilities are good. However you cant control air conditiining at night to make rooms cool enough to sleep well. We asked at front desk about why, and they said when the resort is full at night, the system can't produce required cold air and no stand up fans available to borrow to help with room temperature.

My experience at this hotel was not good. 1. My bathroom had mold. Called and advised reception straight away and they advised a cleaner will come. The cleaner came around 7pm, used bleach to try and clean it off. I was told it could not all be cleaned as some of it had silicone on top. Despite being tired, i had to leave my room for a while for to air it out due to the strong bleach smell. 2. The booking make through luxury escape was for a twin pool view. I had 4213 which was nowhere near the pool and no view at all. I raised this issue and was advised to follow up with luxury escape as it was not their issue. I showed my booking confirmation for evidence. I guess thats another follow up i have to do. 3. The aircon was leaking water and the room had a damp smell 4.My key stopped working and had to wait for maintanance to come and fix it before i could leave and get my uber deliveries within the hour of arrival. 5. The bathroom sink was not secured. Lifting it to open it meant the whole tap lifted too. See photos. Bubbles where coming out of the floor drain when showering. 6. The building was not accessible- no lift. Dont get how people are expected to carry suitcases up the stairs. I only had a small suit case so the impact was minimal 7. There was a huge cockroach in my room This booking was not cheap for me to have such an experience. I was really upset because i really needed this was a much needed break which turned into an anxiety inducing experience. Ireen P.
