Lovely hotel, very close to the city center (a 7-minute walk). Spacious parking garage. It's a general parking garage, but with a separate section for Mercure guests. We received a warm welcome from the receptionist, a quick check-in, and a truly spacious room (we booked a room with a whirlpool). It had lovely seating (two chairs with ottomans, a small table, and a small folding table). There was also a refrigerator and coffee and tea making facilities. The spacious bedroom had a king-size bed and a very large bathroom with a separate rain shower and toilet. The breakfast was excellent in a very spacious restaurant where you can't dine, but only order snacks (e.g., bittergarnituur).

No overnight stay. We did attend two two-day training sessions. The hotel is... somewhat geared towards people who want to eat halal or vegetarian. The alternative is, for the main course, at the buffet, no meat. No fish option, but three types of meat. Missed opportunity. The evening service, and the lady who undoubtedly would rather be home. Both times were just as unfriendly. Dinner wasn't until 7:30 PM, but it simply wasn't ready then. That could really be much better. At lunch the next day, the leftovers from the beef wellington. I'm not a fan of food waste, but sign up for "to good to go" instead of serving it to your guests again. And that something about the mouse in the restaurant. Climate control is also not a luxury. Eating in a cold environment is not pleasant. During the break, bars were provided. A rice bar with a best-before date of May 2025 and a Naturals bar with a best-before date of last week. I will, of course, report this to the training organization. But I think it should also be mentioned here.
