Great hotel for a city break to Bochum. It's a bit dated in places, but the price-performance ratio is perfectly fine.

There's not much wrong with this hotel, but it's not great either and it's quite expensive. The furnishings are basic, a bit dull. The room is okay, with a good bed, clean, a large TV, and a nice view of the city from the 11th floor, but it's a really standard room. Breakfast is quite chaotic. Everyone is constantly coming and going, and there are few staff to clean up and replenish the food. There's plenty of choice, but much of it is gone or just leftovers. The staff isn't very attentive to this. The elevator is also a peculiarity. It's incredibly slow and sometimes stops on every floor for no reason. Parking is available under the hotel, but it's very expensive (€23 per night). The reception staff is only very mediocre in their service. The location is excellent, right in the city center.
