We had a room on the 9th floor. The view of the Rhine was fantastic, the room was clean and practical, and three fast elevators prevented any waiting times or crowds. The staff was consistently friendly, and the breakfast hours on weekends were very generous (until noon). There was nothing lacking; if one were to be critical, the only thing to mention would be the juice, which was very sweet and unfortunately not fresh. The bar could stay open later than 11 p.m., at least on weekends, but overall it's a really very pleasant hotel. The complimentary welcome drinks, at two per person per day, are very generous. The direct access to the Rhein-Mosel-Halle was also very convenient (we had tickets for Johann König on Saturday evening). The passageway is officially open until 10 p.m., which was a bit odd, as it was open from the hall after the event but closed from the hotel side, even though it was already 10:30 p.m. We can't say whether this was due to pedantry or a lack of communication.

A great hotel for business travelers – top service & amenities I stayed at the Mercure Koblenz for two nights on business and was absolutely delighted. Everything is designed for efficiency and comfort: Check-in was lightning fast (this area was recently renovated and looks fantastic!), the Wi-Fi is stable and fast (perfect for video calls), and the room provided an excellent workspace. Despite the central location, the room was completely quiet, allowing me to sleep wonderfully. The breakfast was very convenient and delicious. The restaurant area has just undergone extensive renovations and therefore makes a fantastic impression! If you're looking for stress-free accommodation with professional service, this is the place for you. I will definitely stay at this hotel again on my next trip to the area. Sincerely, Sascha Klein

On February 6, 2026, I called to inquire about a room block for an upcoming conference. Unfortunately, the conversation proved extremely difficult due to a significant language barrier, making mutual understanding nearly impossible. I was subsequently transferred multiple times between the banquet service, the reservations team, and reception, without anyone addressing my specific request. Despite the time-sensitive nature of my inquiry, it remains unanswered. Especially with business bookings and events, I expect clear responsibilities, reliable communication, and timely responses. These expectations were sadly not met in my case.
