The hotel is old and looks dirty. Check-in was slow even though I had booked online. I had requested some things in the reservation, and then when I called before arriving, they simply didn't consider them.

The hotel is well located, close to the city's main tourist attractions. The service compromised our stay. The air conditioning was condensing. The hotel service left much to be desired, the towels were old and bad, they didn't provide sheets to cover ourselves, and when we asked at reception, the attendant rudely informed us that there was nothing she could do, but that she would "do us a favor and check if there were any sheets available." In addition to this embarrassment, the coffee is bad, the products they serve are of low quality, which also compromises the service provided, which, by the way, is expensive for what it offers. Two days before the end of the trip, there was a fire in the kitchen, where the smoke spread throughout the building's floors, and the coffee, which wasn't all that great to begin with, managed to become even more outdated. There was no electricity to make a sandwich or an espresso machine, but that's okay, you can manage with other things. Tapioca is made in the kitchen (this information is not given when you access the coffee area), you end up "finding out" about it through other people who are eating. The tapioca was floury, and the products used (cheese and ham) appeared to be of low quality. In the breakfast room, the couscous was practically all flour, and the egg didn't look good. On all five nights we stayed at the hotel, the papaya at breakfast was hard and not ripe enough. On the day there was no power in the kitchen due to the fire, I asked one of the employees if it was possible to make a ham and cheese sandwich in a frying pan, since there was no power to cook it on the griddle. He said it wasn't possible, so I put cheese and ham inside a bun and asked them to heat it up. The gym is tiny, it has three dumbbells for exercises, and one of the two multi-joint machines was under maintenance.

The rooms were old and showed signs of mold, and since I have allergic rhinitis, I couldn't sleep. The reception couldn't help me change rooms. The gym had few machines. The breakfast was plentiful and varied; we really enjoyed the tapioca and the pineapple cake. The service was pleasant and kind. We had the opportunity to have lunch and dinner, which were also very good.
