The only downside was the room. I had requested a window through Turkish Holidays online for an extra fee. There was a window, but it faced inside. It was lacking in ventilation, and in the morning I wasn't sure if it would be nice or bad. I sent the hotel two emails directly to make sure the room had a window, but they didn't respond. They'll offer cruises and hammams, but you'll have to make do because they're more expensive than average. Otherwise, it was fine. The coffee machine broke at breakfast, but never mind, I drank tea. Don't expect a fancy breakfast, but the view of the mosque and the sea is truly priceless and stunning. The staff is friendly. In conclusion, I wouldn't return because I felt cramped in the claustrophobic and small room. The closet barely holds two jackets, but there's no table or chair. In short, depressing.

An extremely disappointing stay at the Mevlana Hotel. We were put in a basement room with no windows, a detail that was unclear and which I had somehow missed when booking with Perfectstay on Cdiscount Voyages! The result: constant noise day and night (cars, guests, and staff from 6:30 am onwards), making it impossible to get any proper rest. The bed was misshapen and very uncomfortable from the moment we arrived. Persistent odors (from the bathroom and cigarette smoke) entered the room through the only small, high-up window. The bathroom smelled strongly of dust, the ventilation was filthy, and despite daily bed-making, the floor was never cleaned during our entire stay, and even the reception area was very dusty! We requested a room change on the first day: refused, and no alternative was offered. Furthermore, the room was located next to the staff room, with slamming doors and loud conversations early in the morning. This stay was very trying and absolutely did not meet the standards expected of a hotel of this caliber. I do not recommend this establishment.

An absolute horror. This isn't a hotel, it's an apartment hotel. Multiple problems remained unresolved after 10 days. A completely incompetent staff who lose their composure with every request. Services were subpar, and the advertising was particularly misleading, especially from Air France Holidays. No breakfast buffet, no sweets, a room with only one bedside table, and no storage space. The manager's family smoked shisha in the middle of the guests during breakfast. No regard for food hygiene. Who could possibly award them 4 stars??? Avoid this "hotel" at all costs. I have filed a complaint with the French fraud squad against the company that sold me this accommodation and have also reported the matter to the Istanbul Tourist Office and the Turkish Ministry of Tourism.
