Ming Paragon Hotel And Spa

Coming from a guest who stayed at their hostel (individual capsule room). Highly recommend to spend your stay somewhere else. 1. Poor cleanliness - Room: There's dirt in the nooks & crevices next to my bed & mirror cabinet (refer photo). My bedsheet also has brown-black stains right after I checked in (refer photo). - Toilet/shower room: Crusty crevices & floor. Has urine odor along the alley towards the toilet area & also in shower rooms. Door lock is rusty & brittle (refer photo). Towel holders & faucets are also crusty (made me question whether I cleaned myself thoroughly or not because it is dirty EVERYWHERE) - Also found unflushed urine in one of the toilets 2. Poor security & surveillance - No security camera along the alley reaching the toilet area (refer photo - alley is Z-shaped). Anything could happen before/after I shower or use the toilet & nothing can be traced to backup guests as evidence. - I lost my slippers that I left in front of my room (alley - refer photo). Front desk only informed me that probably housekeeping or someone else around might took it & they can't do much in helping me trace back cause no camera around. - Clearly this was a crime happened (theft) but they chose to be irresponsible. 3. Poor maintenance - Water dispenser: They used the plastic bottle type (refer photo) & did not refill water for guests. I went to refill my bottle around midnight but the water is difficult to dispense despite being tilted, so I came the next day around 11.00am, bottle is still at the same level. - Abandoned cafeteria: Became a storage area covered with cloth & illegal smoking area for guests. But this is also the same area with water dispenser, clothing iron & hot water. 4. Poor communication between staffs. - Informed the night shift staff regarding my lost slippers. - Followed up the next day & apparently the day shift staff had no idea about my case. - Saw a whole team in their office area next to the lobby but still providing poor hospitality. 5. Poor sound-proofing - I can hear every single step along the alley. - I can hear every phone audio from people chilling & talking at the abandoned cafeteria from my capsule room with my door closed tight. - I can hear & feel phone alarm vibrations from the capsule next to me from my bed. If my review sounded silly like "I get what I pay for at that price", trust me I have booked other capsule hotels within the same area here with lower price but amazing service.

The staff is really nice, it's really good here, it's close to the city, don't worry about checking in here if you're hungry, there's a restaurant below the hotel, a laundry if your clothes are dirty, 7e if you want to buy something, you can also walk there by ktcc, don't worry if you're hungry, there are plenty of restaurants here 😂

The room is worth the price, you have to be quick because it's always full. The best location, you can walk to eat or take a walk. There is laundry, and nearby restaurants. The parking is also spacious because it's just a fee per entry for hotel clients, just park carefully because our car had a flat tire and got a screw driver, maybe it was planted in the sand there. But if you come with small children, you can try calling first to ask if it's still in the renovation process or not because when we went, it was renovated until night. A little noisy but it's called renovation, where can you be quiet. Just still tolerate it, but if you have small children, it's better to take the one next door that hasn't been renovated.
