I stayed in an executive room for four people. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were kind and courteous. I was satisfied with the price, but there were many inconvenient aspects to the room's amenities. Amenities are charged extra. I expected them to be free. Pajama rentals also cost extra. There was a washing machine in the room, but I couldn't find the detergent and wanted to inquire with the front desk staff, but I could only contact them via LINE, not the internal phone line. There was a time lag in responses, which was very inconvenient. When I told the staff member I was out of detergent, they first asked me to look around the room. If it was supposed to be included, I would have liked them to come and help me immediately. They finally brought it to my room, but they arrived around 10 p.m. I was in my bedroom before bed, so I wish they had been considerate enough to send me a message before coming. The room information stated that cleaning service is only available for stays of six nights or more. I did want the towels replaced, so I asked the front desk and they agreed. The room information made it seem like no cleaning service would be provided unless you stayed for 6 nights or more, so it would have been easier to understand if they had made it clearer that towels could be changed. Also, the refrigerator does not have a freezer function. I was disappointed when I bought some ice cream and opened the fridge to find that it didn't work. The room seemed to have not been used for a while, as the cups and hair dryer were covered in dust. It seemed like a final check for cleanliness had not been done before we checked in. The guest room facilities were often not designed to make guests comfortable, which was very inconvenient and made me feel like I would not recommend it to others.

Minn Hotels are owned by a parent company hilariously named SQUEEZE ASIA, as it seems that’s exactly what they are trying to do. The check-in process is outsourced to a call center in Cambodia, where upon arriving at the hotel the staff will put you on an iPad and make you show your ID documents to a teenager in Phnom Penh. I’m totally against this kind of corrupt business practice. Stop outsourcing service labor to cut costs. Beyond this they penny pinch all amenities like toothbrushes, room cleaning, breakfast, and even Yukata which are standard at even the cheapest business hotel. Don’t stay at a hotel operated by SQUEEZE unless you want to be thoroughly SQUEEZED.
