Mirador Del Frayle

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel, and on both visits, the experience has been satisfactory, both in terms of the rooms and the service. It boasts an excellent view of the city. While the hotel's style is somewhat rustic, it has a unique charm and, overall, offers a pleasant and tranquil atmosphere.

It's a really, really nice hotel; we truly enjoyed it to the fullest. We read several reviews, and here's ours, which we hope will be helpful. We just finished our 3-day stay and chose room 114 (the pear-shaped one), and I think it's the best. It's very spacious, has a bathtub and hot water, and also includes a heater that warmed the room nicely. Obviously, it smells a bit damp and old because it's a very old building! But it's nothing bothersome, really. We liked the breakfast; for $150, it seemed very complete. The pool is at room temperature, so if you go in winter, it will be cold (we went in anyway and enjoyed it). It has a large and beautiful garden. The staff is very friendly; we had more contact with the young man on the night shift and the cook. Both were super friendly. ✅ I never found a single bed bug or scorpion, unlike what some other reviews mention. The only thing I noticed is that the floor either isn't cleaned regularly or, being old, it collects dust. Other than that, the bathroom, towels, and blankets smelled nice. We did get one towel that was a bit torn, but it wasn't dirty and it did the job. Another point is that it's close to the center, but because it's at a steep altitude, it's difficult to access for elderly people or people with disabilities. However, they can get around by Uber or taxi (Uber is much cheaper than a taxi). We decided to leave our car in the parking lot and use Uber for all three days. There are good and affordable restaurants nearby (like La Villa and Giordino Toscano).

Good place to sleep, the service was good, just a few shortcomings such as the food, internet, and the room had some minor issues. But overall it was fine.
