Mirage Bab Al Bahr Beach Hotel

I absolutely do not recommend it.

I stayed at this 4-star hotel. It was a disaster, even though I'm not particularly picky. The food wasn't varied and wasn't tasty... It was the first time we left hungry from an all-inclusive package. There's a 5-star hotel next to theirs, and they said the food was good. The bungalow rooms are a nightmare. She made me wash the curtains and change the ironing board (it was all dirty and torn). The rooms smelled like old people. The beach was clean. At least that's a plus. And it's the only one. I don't remember the entertainment at all; you couldn't hear or see anything. Basically, either pay up to a 5-star hotel or try other 4-star hotels in the Emirates. I've stayed in 4-star hotels before and didn't expect to find such a mess. I won't even mention the staff.

I am leaving this review because repeated emails and follow-ups to the hotel have gone unanswered, and at this point it feels like the only way to get a response. I stayed here from 28–30 November 2025, and the experience was unacceptable from the moment I arrived. Despite checking in well after the official check-in time, the room was not clean or usable. The bedding was stained, the mattress was visibly discolored, and there was dust on obvious surfaces. More concerning, a drawer that was completely off its track fell onto my foot when I tried to use it — a serious safety issue that could have caused real injury. I reported this immediately and was shown another room, which was in exactly the same condition. I then had to wait for housekeeping to completely change the mattress, bedding, and clean the room before I could use it at all, effectively losing one full night of my stay. Since then, the customer service has been just as poor. Promised follow-up calls from management never happened, responses have been extremely delayed, and recent emails have been ignored entirely. No reasonable compensation was offered for what happened. The lack of accountability and basic courtesy in handling this complaint is shocking. Based on both the condition of the rooms and the way complaints are handled, I would strongly advise others to think twice before staying here.
