A spotlessly clean hotel in the centre of Barcelona. Very helpful staff. Carmen in particular was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was satisfactory.

Hello, I stayed at this hotel in November with my sister and a friend. I haven't been able to write this review before due to personal reasons, and I feel obligated to respond to the answer the manager gave my friend Susy Silveira! It's unbelievable that he told us we left the door open and that they reset the code! I don't know how they can reset a lock that uses a card... anyway, if they did reset it, we don't care! We left at 9:00 AM, and the door was perfectly locked because we are very strict about security! We are three adult women who didn't come to this city to party, but to explore it and visit its monuments! When we arrived at night, we were stunned to see the door wide open. We rushed inside to check all our valuables... luckily, everything was there. Then we calmed down and went to reception to explain the situation! The cleaning person had come into the room, changed the towels, and emptied the trash can, but the beds weren't made. So, the person who started cleaning the room was either called or got distracted and left the door open and never came back! I want to reiterate that the door was closed! As for the buffet waiter, he was neither discreet nor polite! We thought it was awful because we've never experienced anything like it! Because, as my friend mentioned in the previous review, we've been traveling for many years! We find the manager's response unbelievable; he's very subtly implying that we're liars, and that's something I simply cannot allow! Thank you.
