We are a delegation of international chicha morada experts, with a wide expertise on corn, (pine)apple, lemon, cinnamon, sugar, ice cubes, fancy glasses and the colour purple. After a carefull consideration and a due process, in which we have observed, tasted, smelled, touched, measured and inspected chicha morada's in dozens of establishments in Cusco, we have decided that the chicha morada of Hotel Monasterio will be granted the honoured title of the Chicha Morada of the Year 2026. We congratulate you on your achievement and we will be back next year!

The experience at this hotel was superb. The room, amenities, decoration, courtesy and capability of the staff, the cuisine, and the personal attentiveness made our stay memorable. Stay here and be sure you will have a wonderful experience. The setting, location and gardens are delightful. Many thanks to the attentive and successful reception staff in particular, but everyone including the restaurant and housekeeping staff deserves thanks for a job perfectly done. The breakfast at this hotel is world class. Do not miss it! Special thanks to Mr. Edson for taking care of our family with care and attention to detail. My only regret is that we had to move to another hotel for our last night in Cusco, a certain American chain’s “luxury collection,” which it turned out was a clear and marked downgrade in every way except the price.
