Mondial Hotel Hue

Really good hotel.

During my three-day stay in Hue, I proactively chose three different hotels, and this was the third one. In terms of price, this hotel is more expensive than the previous one I stayed at. Location is a clear plus: the hotel is near the Perfume River, the surroundings are spacious, and parking is ample and convenient. In terms of location alone, this hotel has an advantage over some other places I've experienced in Hue. The room quality is average to good. Compared to the price, I feel the room experience wasn't truly commensurate with what I received. Not bad, but not good enough to feel "worth the money" for the segment the hotel is targeting. The detail that displeased me most was the drinking water in the room. The hotel used homemade bottled water instead of standard bottled water. When drinking, I noticed sediment inside the bottle. This is a significant drawback, especially for a hotel that positions itself as a four-star establishment. For mid-to-high-end customers, such details can easily create a feeling of insecurity and a lack of professionalism. Compared to other hotels I've stayed at in Hue, this hotel's location is truly advantageous for its price. However, considering the overall quality of service and experience, the hotel still needs further improvement to match its current positioning. The business lesson I learned from this experience is quite clear: products and services must be appropriate for the target segment. When choosing the four-star segment, meaning serving a group of customers with higher and more demanding requirements, every detail in the experience needs to be carefully controlled. Things that seem very small can become major drawbacks in customer perception. These are my honest observations from my personal experience.
