Had a birthday weekend at Montigo Resort. Had a wonderful and relaxing trip. Service was fantastic. The team reached out prior to the trip to arrange shuttle services. Elisa from the front desk team handled our check in. She was very bubbly and welcoming. Loved her service. Villas in Montigo were huge with all units coming with a private pool. There were some issues we faced in terms of plumbing. The bathtub water was brown despite multiple tries, and the shower head from the common room’s toilet was also faulty. Otherwise, we had a comfortable stay in a clean and big unit:) Housekeeping team does turn around service twice a day - in the morning and in the evening. In terms of location, Montigo is located in a distant part away from Batam city centre which is atleast 30 to 40minutes drive away. Grab/gojek is easily accessible.

Thank you for Mr Erwin (House keeping manager) & Nigel, Albar, Aji, rooms are very clean and thank you for the upgrade from a 1 bedroom to 2 bedroom villa! It was unexpected and it made our stay much more pleasant! Especially on my 28th birthday! Definitely will come back in the future!

Staff here are extremely friendly and helpful. Erwin was in our charge of our room (housekeeping manager), including Albar + Aji (housekeeping staff) ensured we had a pleasant stay - they were quick to resolve any issues + we were celebrating a birthday and he decorated our room which was a nice touch. They also did a great job with our 2 bed rooms' cleanliness!
