We spent our Christmas holidays at Moracea by Khao Lak and stayed in a Dahlia Beachfront Villa. We truly enjoyed the privacy – the villa is very well designed, featuring two bathrooms, a separate living room, and a bedroom. The outdoor area offers plenty of loungers, both in the sun and in the shade, which made it very comfortable to relax. The resort itself is generally very quiet, something we found extremely pleasant and perfect for a relaxing holiday. What we missed a little was a turndown service, but the housekeeping staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall, the staff throughout the resort were exceptionally friendly, yet discreet and never intrusive. Breakfast is served buffet-style and offers a good variety, so there is something for everyone. You can enjoy breakfast either by the water or in the pavilion, which adds to the relaxed atmosphere. In the evenings, dining at the hotel bar is also a good option – the food tastes very good and the prices are absolutely fair. All in all, it was a very relaxing stay, and we can definitely recommend Moracea by Khao Lak.

We stayed at the Moracea in November. The grounds are very well-maintained, with long walks and some very steep inclines. The rooms are clean and well-kept. The staff in all departments are very friendly and promptly fulfill any requests. It's a 10-minute walk to town. Breakfast is varied and plentiful, with a very large selection of fruit, and egg dishes are freshly prepared. We felt very comfortable.
