My extended stay at the Motel 6 in Quantico was, without exaggeration, one of the worst hospitality experiences I have ever endured. I cannot caution potential guests strongly enough to look elsewhere for lodging. The problems began with the overall clientele and atmosphere. The property appears to attract a significant number of disruptive individuals, many of whom seemed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This led to loud, chaotic disturbances throughout the night, making it impossible to get a restful sleep. The situation was so severe that police presence in the parking lot responding to calls was a common occurrence, creating an environment that felt unsafe and unsettling. Unfortunately, the issues were not limited to other guests. The staff, particularly the hotel manager, were profoundly unprofessional. The managerial staff, who are Indian, consistently treated me and other guests with a shocking level of condescension and rudeness. The manager himself was a "smart ass," openly dismissive, and made it clear he believed guests were beneath him. This unprofessionalism escalated into outright pettiness. After a disagreement, the manager instructed the housekeeping staff to skip my room entirely as a form of retaliation. For a staggering two weeks, my room was not cleaned or serviced. I was ultimately forced to clean it myself, which is utterly unacceptable for a paid stay at any establishment, let alone one charging their current rates. The combination of a dangerous and noisy environment, blatantly rude and discriminatory staff, and a management style that is both petty and vindictive is astounding. The fact that this motel is still in business, charging money for such subpar and hostile service, is beyond me. Save your money and your peace of mind—stay anywhere else. Bottom Line: An embarrassing and horrible experience defined by noise, neglect, and a management team that actively works against its guests.
