I stayed one night at the Moxy Lille City and my opinion is mixed. The positive point is clearly the staff: the team is very welcoming, pleasant, and professional. However, several things detracted from the comfort of my stay. The rooms were very dark and the temperature was particularly low. It wasn't possible to turn up the heat, even though it was warmer in the hallways than in the rooms. The blankets were also very thin, which didn't help to alleviate the cold. Furthermore, there was no hot water during my stay. The toilet flush was inefficient and the soundproofing was inadequate, to the point that I could hear the toilets flushing in other rooms from my own room. In terms of location, the hotel is situated in a quiet area, about a 20-minute walk from the Euralille Westfield shopping center and the train station, which is still a plus. In summary, despite quality staff and a decent location, several comfort-related aspects could be improved to meet the expectations of a pleasant stay.

A recently built hotel located in a quiet neighborhood. Despite its modern decor and pleasant staff, I was disappointed by this hotel. The room was clean but dreary. The heating in the room was insufficient and practically nonexistent in the bathroom. There was no shower gel in the dispenser, no safe, and no coffee machine. The shower water pressure was very low. I was disappointed by the breakfast, which was overpriced and lacked variety. We were seated in the bar area, which was too small. The price was too high considering the quality of the meal.

The hotel is located in a quiet part of the city and has its own parking garage. Parking must be reserved in advance and is accessible by car via a street around the corner. The garage is accessible from the hotel itself. We had a problem with hot water, which was quickly resolved by offering us another room. The rooms are otherwise fine, with a small open wardrobe with hangers, a mirror, a TV, and a bedside table. The window could be opened, which is also nice for fresh air. Breakfast has a wide selection, nothing special, but sufficient. There is a bar that stays open until around midnight and plenty of seating, including outside the bar. The only downside is the wait times at reception. They can get long, especially when there's only one person at the reception desk.
