Really disappointing experience at the bar inside this Moxy. My group of four sat directly at the bar and received no greeting, eye contact, or acknowledgement from either bartender. It was awkward enough that we ended up greeting them first. The two bartenders (one with blue hair and one with long black hair so management can identify them) were rude, unwelcoming, and disengaged the entire time. They spent more time standing off to the side talking to each other, and clearly about our group, than actually helping us. When we finally ordered, I was told the only tequila available was Casamigos, despite a fully stocked bar with several other bottles visible. Since I don’t drink Casamigos, I ordered champagne instead. When I asked to pay, I was told I had to hand over my card before I could even see a receipt. The attitude was so off that I finally asked the bartender with blue hair if everything was okay because her demeanor felt unnecessarily hostile. She brushed it off by saying she was “busy running around,” even though the bar wasn’t busy. The Moxy brand is supposed to be fun and welcoming, but this experience was the complete opposite. If these two are working the bar, it’s enough to make someone not want to come back.

Was a pretty decent hotel. $139ish a night for weekdays which seemed reasonable for the area. Our sink wasn’t working so we told the people downstairs and they got it fixed by the time we got back. It’s in a nice location for a vacation, about a 10 minute drive/uber to downtown and 30 minutes to the Opry. It’s definitely very modern millennial vibes but you do get a free drink token. Their mixed drinks were good. No fridge in the room which is a bummer so we couldn’t save leftovers. They also said they have free coffee and tea but no breakfast however there are good breakfast options nearby. The lobby is nice with games and chairs to lounge.
