Highly recommended! This hotel is a true gem in Phuket. Its slightly secluded location allows you to fully enjoy your holiday away from Phuket's party scene. The breakfast was excellent, the rooms modern and clean, and the staff very friendly. We felt extremely comfortable!

The hotel isn't bad, but it's a bit short of a 5-star rating. The service is excellent, the room is cleaned every day, the staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. BUT, the bathroom smells incredibly of sewage. Even with the exhaust fan running, the smell is still very unpleasant. After every shower, the water gets stuck and doesn't drain, causing mold. But overall, everything was fine. ALSO, very important: They often bring free cocktails at the bar (very tasty). But two days before departure, we bought a cocktail with ice in the evening (even though we'd always ordered it without ice before). My husband spent the next day vomiting. I understand that this is our fault, as we knew ice was safe to drink, and it's simply our own fault. It's also best to bring swimming shoes, as rocks wash up on the shore every day, and there's all sorts of trash. But this isn't the hotel's fault; it's the country's fault. There are no clean beaches here.

The hotel staff from top to bottom works extremely hard to provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. You really cannot fault them for their service and effort. The hotel property itself is generally clean and well kept. There may be a few spots here and there that needs some freshen up. Otherwise, most amenities are still functioning as expected. With regard to the actual rooms, they are massive. The shower is big enough for 10+ people to fit inside. Likewise, the bed was big and comfortable. I had no trouble sleeping throughout our stay. However, on our visit, our room was situated next to a cupboard labelled as the 'Pantry'. They needed to run an extractor fan to presumably dry the place. But this gave off a rather unpleasant smell. We were unfortunately slightly put off by this. Also, with our final night, the AC packed in. They couldn't fix it before the next day. Fortunately, the adjoining room next door was free and they opened the interior door so we could sleep in the adjoining room with the AC still working. Thanks to the staff for providing a reasonable solution to the problem. If you're travelling from the airport to the hotel (and vice versa), I would consider allowing 1.5 hours for travelling by car/taxi. It can be very busy during rush hour.
