My Ella Bodrum Resort & Spa

I wholeheartedly recommend against staying at My Ella Bodrum Resort & Spa. This is primarily due to the blatant neglect of guest safety and the inadequate response of the staff. We visited in September 2025. On the second day of our stay, my husband injured his foot while pushing off the bottom of the outdoor pool. It turned out that a significant portion of the bottom was covered in numerous sharp-edged tile fragments and damaged filter elements. Small pieces of tile (literally, debris) were pushed to the side of the pool. The next day, another hotel guest also suffered injuries. Several people began entering the pool wearing water shoes. The report was ignored by the staff. One guest pointed out the debris to a male member of staff (he even fished some out and dumped it on the poolside). What did the employee do? Photo :) He looked at it for a moment and WENT AWAY. The hotel management didn't take any steps to clean the pool, explaining that they would have to close it, which would have upset guests. For me, it would have been enough to start by removing the tile fragments and throwing them away. I don't know what it's like now, but I'd love to know :D Other aspects of the stay also left much to be desired: Indoor pool: mold was visible in the room; despite attempts to paint it over, the mold continued to grow through the walls. Entertainment and entertainment: mostly in Turkish; a very limited number of attractions in English and Polish (about 3-4 songs a day). Games like water polo and darts—though offered—were not taking place. Not to mention the evening entertainment. On the plus side, there was a gym available. Bars: the bar in the disco (on the lower floor) was closed, as was the disco itself—which was a factor in our choice of the hotel. Regarding alcohol, you have to give them credit—they care about their customers' health. The drinks were so awful that I finally started to appreciate Turkish tea. Hotel Standard: 3 stars at most – and that's because of the attentive waitstaff during meals. Dampness on the ceiling in the lobby. Condensation and mold dripped from the ceiling onto hotel guests. The standard fell short of the hotel's stated standard. Room and Bathroom: The refrigerator didn't work. The window curtain was torn from the beginning of my stay, and mold was visible on the walls, ceiling, and tiles in the bathroom. Reports to reception went unanswered. Location: Convenient, about a 20-minute walk to the town center. Food: Included: "Night Soup: 11:30 PM - 1:30 AM" - Actual: None - reported to the resident during a group meeting and then to reception. I am very disappointed with both the level of service and the extent of the neglect. Instead of a relaxing stay, we returned with a bad taste in our mouths and an injury. I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel.

So, should we complain to Cimer to pay our salaries?

I'm writing this review on November 29, 2025. If you're planning a vacation with your family and loved ones, don't choose this hotel. Don't even pass by it. This was my first and last time working at this hotel. It's been over a month since I left, and they still haven't paid our last wages. Our salaries are constantly being delayed. If the hotel were run by a decent manager, no guest would have complained about anything this year. I know they won't find any staff or decent guests next year. Will they delete this review, but I'll share it again whenever they do.
