Naiyang Park Resort

The hotel itself offers a very beautiful and well-maintained property with large and spacious rooms. The bathroom is also large and equipped with a really good shower. The beach is just a few meters from the hotel; you have to cross a road and walk through a park. One of our reasons for booking this hotel was the inclusion of beach loungers, which, however, were not available. When we asked if we could have two beach towels, we were simply told that they couldn't give us any more. Furthermore, the beach wasn't exactly clean. Small pieces of plastic (e.g., Styrofoam, bottle caps) were lying around everywhere. A few hundred meters from the hotel beach is a river mouth. The river water simply smelled of manure, which certainly didn't exactly encourage swimming in that area. In general, the staff at the hotel weren't exactly unfriendly, but they weren't friendly either, and certainly not as attentive as one might expect from other holiday resorts. Overall, the reception staff were about as helpful as a blank sheet of paper. Another major drawback was the construction noise around the hotel. We had a sort of rubbish dump right behind our room, which was the source of the noise, and there was also a construction site next to the breakfast room. The second construction site wasn't so bothersome in itself, except for the sparks from a circular saw that flew out of our shower room. The hotel's location is also very inconvenient. It's "only" 25 km to the old town, but due to the heavy traffic in Phuket, the journey took about 1 to 1.5 hours and cost between 500 and 1000 baht. Booking excursions wasn't easy either, as the hotel is outside most of the pick-up zones. If you do find an excursion where the hotel is in the pick-up zone, you have to expect a transfer time of 1.5 to 2 hours. If you're picked up at 7:00, unfortunately, breakfast is also out of the question, as breakfast doesn't start until 7:00, not even at 6:30, despite the long transfer times. There was no option to get a packed lunch. Overall, despite the beautiful grounds, I wouldn't recommend this hotel because the other aspects weren't right.

Extremely Disappointed: Maintenance Issues and Petty Charges I had a very poor experience at Naiyang Park Resort. I strongly advise travelers to look elsewhere for these reasons: 1. Hidden Costs: Be warned—if you accidentally break a glass, they will track it down and force you to pay for it. It’s very petty and creates a welcoming atmosphere of "looking for reasons to charge you." 2. Dirty Private Pool: We stayed in the Private Pool Villa, but the pool was visibly neglected. It clearly isn't being maintained or treated properly. 3. Pests: We found a centipede inside our villa. This is a clear sign of poor pest control and lack of basic maintenance. The management seems more focused on charging for glassware than keeping the villas clean and safe. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

Unfair extra charge for a 4-person family booking We booked a Family Deluxe room for 2 adults and 2 children (Booking CKY3CF9H8G). Upon arrival, the room was only prepared for 3 people (3 beds, 3 towels). After we complained, the staff brought us a 4th towel, which proves they acknowledge we are 4 guests. However, they are demanding an extra 1,500 THB PER NIGHT for the 4th bed! This is unacceptable as our booking clearly states 4 guests. It feels like extortion for families. The staff admits we are 4 people but refuses to provide the bed we already paid for through Stayforlong. Avoid this place if you are traveling as a family.
