Very bad experience at Namaka Hotel. The room was disappointing, the bed was uncomfortable. There is no room service after 10 PM, which is very inconvenient for guests! We also had a misunderstanding with one of the managers, and his attitude was unprofessional and rude when speaking to us. Although the situation was eventually resolved, the way he handled it completely ruined our stay. Because of the bad room, lack of service, and the manager's attitude, I would never stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I absolutely do not recommend it. The place is old and only partially renovated. It was very infested with insects and mosquitoes. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and there is no room service after 10 PM. There are better places for less. Unfortunately, the experience was terrible.

I'm giving it all five stars because we got there perfectly. Here are the reasons: the hotel is a bit far from town, so a scooter costs 300 baht a day; a one-way taxi costs 200 baht. There's also a hotel shuttle every hour until 6 p.m. The hotel itself is built on a steep slope, so every building except building no. 4 is inconvenient because it's really far and steep. They supposedly use electric carts, but it's one-way. The terrain is truly vast and steep. The rooms are large, but those on the third and top floors have lowered roofs over the balconies, limiting the view from the room. So, they're not the top floors. There aren't enough sunbeds by the pools, and there's almost always a shortage of space. Be warned! There are three pools on the hotel grounds, and they probably don't know much about the third pool—you should ask at reception because it's a bit out of the way. Breakfast is served around 10 a.m., and there's nowhere to sit. So, you probably need to arrive early—I don't know, as we haven't been there. There's no facilities for children. There's no point in taking dinner or lunch to a hotel unless you have a scooter, because the food in town is excellent. You can pay by card almost everywhere. Supposedly, everything has a sea view, but some don't. So: scooter + building 4 + room on the first or second floor = all five. Otherwise, it's "worse" :-)
