We went around August 2025. It was rainy season at the time but despite the consistent gloomy and rainy weather, we were still welcomed with warmth and hospitality far beyond what we expected. From the front desk all the way to our room, we were attended with hospitality and professionalism befitting a wellness spa. Their complementary activities were all handled professionally and you can see that each staff member really put a lot of effort in these activities. All activities (circuit training, meal prep, Himalayan salt room, steam & sauna, breath work & meditation, and stretching & movement) really contributed to giving guests a sense of relaxation and wellbeing during their stay even if it’s just for a short period of time. Their rooms were cozy and comfortable and their food was remarkably well-prepared and well thought of. Another important note is that Nawa treats pets equally as guests together with their clients, giving the same hospitality and warmth. They also gave our dog his favorite treat— cucumber! We would also like to commend Sir Mark’s excellent service. We will always remember our stay at Nawa as one of our best vacations!

Our staycation at Nawa was one of the best nature stays we had thus far. The entire property was very clean, well-maintained, and was a refreshing change of pace from usual hotel accommodations, and the wellness experiences made us feel refreshed and pampered. The property had valet parking by default since getting around was a bit of a challenge due to the terrain, although this seemed necessary since the property is located at a secluded region (Calatagan, Batangas) to provide guests with an experience similar to a retreat. Our room accommodation was well-made, had all the essential amenities including a hot & cold shower. There is local WiFi in the property shared with guests so there can be issues with concurrent access but is not too much of a concern given this is a retreat stay. It had access to a common veranda, overlooking most of the property and its facilities. The stay includes breakfast and free participation in all wellness activities such as breathing, aerobic, and yoga exercises, which were already worth the money for the 3D/2N stay. Our package that we purchased (from a travel fair) had included a complimentary (60-minute) massage and brief access to their sauna, Himalayan salt, and red light therapy rooms, all of which provided a good overview of their wellness services and health benefits. Lunch and dinner in their Dalisay Restaurant was priced fairly considering that we can only order food from there. From a la carte orders, their Margherita Pizza was one of our particular favorites, but all food items we had during our stay were very hearty and tasty. Their buffet breakfast was also a highlight, especially their homemade corned beef, dried fish, and champorado, although in slow days they offer plated breakfast which was likewise delicious. The restaurant also has "food preparation" sessions that taught juice prep which we found enjoyable, and the sampled juices were tasty as well. Service was top-notch; we consider it "peak hospitality", and was one of the highlights of our stay. Their "butler system" was very effective and provided a single-point-of-contact with staff to cater to our needs or remind us of the schedule of wellness activities we take part in (special mention to our butler Ms Claire). We were practically treated like VIPs, from their unique "welcome ritual" until check-out. All staff were very accommodating, and their assistance helped us in having a very enjoyable and refreshing stay overall.
